Book arising from NCAR summer school

 A new book which arose from a NCAR summer school has just been published. It is Numerical Techniques for Global Atmospheric Models edited by Peter Lauritzen, Christiane Jablonowski, Mark Taylor and Ramachandran Nair.  See www.springer.com/978-3-642-11639-1 . It is also worth mentioning that the book is the first in the category Tutorials in the book series Lecture Notes in Computational Science and Engineering.See More

The main task is to plan scientific publications in close collaboration with scientists, in particular, in emerging new fields.

If you would like to learn more, please read the article "Publishing computational science" on page 13 in CSC News 2-2006, a publication of the CSC -- IT Center for Science in Espoo, Finland. The scientists at CSC once asked me to describe what I do. You can find the article at
